Timpi’s web index is built upon a decentralized network of nodes run by independent users.
Timpi’s innovative DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) harnesses the power of independent node operators scattered around the world. By offering a reward-based system, we incentivize individuals to contribute their computing power, working together to create a truly decentralized web index.
The Network is being operated by four different types of nodes, each with different tasks: Collector, Guardian, Geo-Core, Synaptron. All are powered by our proprietary Timpi Autonomous Protocol (TAP).
Geo-Core Nodes are strategically located worldwide, enhancing security and providing routing for quick and accurate data queries.
Our Collectors are decentralized “workers” crawling the web collecting information about websites and their pages. This system remains invisible from front-end services, safeguarding the security of our Collectors.
Guardians are distributed storage nodes that archive the web, safeguarding data collected by Collectors. Guardians ensure data privacy and security without needing a static IP address or open ports.
At the forefront of AI advancement is the Synaptron node. This revolutionary architecture facilitates rapid information exchange, enabling AI models to learn, adapt, and generate responses with remarkable agility.
To run a node you need the requisite Access NFT. Technical requirements for each node type can be found below.
