Job Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to position the search engine as a leading player in the market.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Define key messaging, branding, and communication strategies to align with the company’s mission of data freedom and unbiased search results.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Track and report on marketing KPIs, optimizing efforts to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.

Product Management

  • Own the product roadmap, defining and prioritizing features based on market research, user feedback, and business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and data scientists, to deliver product features on time and within scope.
  • Ensure the product aligns with the company’s manifesto of transparency and unbiased search results.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Monitor and analyze user feedback and product performance, iterating to improve usability and satisfaction.

Collaboration

  • Act as the bridge between marketing, engineering, and leadership to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.
  • Work closely with the community and stakeholders to understand their needs and integrate them into product and marketing plans.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
